Weekly Reading Groups
Toddler Storytime, ages 3 and under – Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
Preschool Storytime, ages 3.5 to 5 – Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.
Primary Reading Group, grades K - 2 – Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m.

Summer Reading Program

Invent a Planet Contest
Entries due July 31 – Create your own planet using art and your imagination. Use any material you want, Styrofoam, paper mache, clay, etc. – and bring your planet to the library to enter. Be creative and have fun!

Music Night with Larry Carlson
Tuesday, August 4 at 6:30 p.m. – All ages, drop-in. Enjoy some wonderful songs with musician and vocalist Larry Carlson. A wonderful chance to enjoy and sing some of your favorite tunes.

Boston Museum of Science Star Labs

Thursday, August 6 at 6:30 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. – Ages 6 and up only, must be registered. There is a long waiting list for this program, if you are registered and will not be able to attend, please call the library so we may call someone to attend in your place. Sponsored by the Carver Cultural Council.

Starship Adventure Closing Party
Friday, August 7 at 11:00 a.m. – Summer Reading Participants get certificates, free books and ice cream, courtesy of Shaw’s Supermarkets.

Ancestry Library Edition
The Carver Public Library now has the Ancestry Library Edition database available on the computers in the library. Discover your ancestors with the world’s largest family history website. The Ancestry databases provide key tools for researching family genealogy including: Census records 1790-1930, US Immigration Collection, The Birth, Marriage & Death Records (SSDI), and the UK and Ireland Collections.
