Events for Carver Public Library

Weekly Storytimes
Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. – Toddler Storytimes, ages 3.5 and under meet for stories, songs and activities.
Tuesdays at 4:00 p.m. – Primary Reading Group, grades K-2 meet to read and practice literacy skills
Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. – Preschool Storytime, ages 3.5 to 5 meet for stories, songs and related activities.

Giving Tree
Through December – grab an ornament from our tree and see how easy it is to share the holiday spirit.

Ornament Making
Saturday, December 5 at 11:00 a.m. – All ages, please register. An annual favorite, don’t forget to make this year’s unique ornament for your holiday season.

Pajama Storytime
Thursday, December 10 at 6:30 p.m. – Ages 9 and under, please register. Kids come dressed in their pajamas for songs, stories and related activities.

Dreidel Craft
Saturday, December 12 at 11:00 a.m. – All ages, drop-in. Come in to make a dreidel and learn how to play.

Caroling with Larry Carlson
Thursday, December 17 at 6:30 p.m. – All ages, drop-in. A great way to celebrate the true spirit of the holiday season with others in your community.

Gift-Making Workshop
Saturday, December 19 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – All ages, drop-in. Come use our supplies to make some unique gifts for giving this holiday season. There will be projects for all age levels, or invent your own .

Library Knitters
Tuesdays from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. – Bring your current knitting project along with something to eat or drink, and we’ll all knit together! New members always welcome.

Ancestry Library Edition
The Carver Public Library now has the Ancestry Library Edition database available on the computers in the library. Discover your ancestors with the world’s largest family history website. The Ancestry databases provide key tools for researching family genealogy including: Census records 1790-1930, US Immigration Collection, The Birth, Marriage & Death Records (SSDI), and the UK and Ireland Collections.
